Theatre of Satire named after A. Kahhara

  Republican Theatre of Satire named after A. Kahhara was established in 1983. People’s artist of Uzbekistan  – Yuldashev Bahodyr Tursunovich is the artistic director of the theatre. The theatre performances are staged for both children and adults in different areas of our country. In addition to that new performances and new ideas are created by the actors of the theatre.

  The repertoire of the theatre is diverse. The performance "My dear mother" by Abdullah Kahhar is interesting for the audience of younger and older generation as the actors of different ages take part in this play. It gives the play some special thrill. There is also the performance “Today's mischief” by Kurban Mukhammadrizo (Khorezm author).

The main character of this play resembles a well-known Gafur Ghulyam, but more modern character. Musical and theatrical program “Our laugh is for you” consists of satirical and musical miniatures.

  It is remarkable that the performances of the satire theatre named after A. Kahhar reflect modern people’s lives as well as the hero of our time. Actors of Satire theatre show the people the serious moral problems. It is noteworthy that they try to bring it to the audience with humor.
