Nurata Hiking Tour is a hiking travel package along the Nurata National park famous for ancient petroglyphs and amazing nature. The trekking parts are well-balanced with resting in the local guesthouses. Pick a date and take 5-day eco-tour hiking around the beautiful natural sights of Nurata at a reasonable price!

By request, Nurata hiking tour can be arranged from Navoi or Bukhara.

Day 1

Tashkent – Navoi – Sarmyshsay

Meet the driver at the hotel in Tashkent.

06:30 Transfer to the railway station in Tashkent.

07:28 Departure for Navoi by high-speed train "Afrosiyob".

10:40 Arrival in Navoi.

Come out of the terminal and meet the driver.

Transfer to Sarmyshsay guesthouses to visit:

- Sarmysh gorge or Sarmyshsay is a unique place famous for Uzbekistan's largest collection of ancient stone inscriptions – petroglyphs, some of the earliest ones are dated 9000 BC, while the latest inscriptions of the 15 Century were made by Sufi dervishes in Arab. Nowadays, the stone gallery of petroglyphs is included in the National Park–Reserve. Sarmyshsay gorge attracts naturalists and adventure lovers.

Photo time and easy hiking to Sarmyshsay gorge to feel past centuries rooted in ancient art, legends, and beliefs.

Lunch at the guesthouse or yurt near Sarmysh.

This peaceful place seems to be guarded by rocky mounts, it was the home of ancient tribes and nowadays welcomes the visitors with chilling beauty and reveals the myths inscribed in rocks.

Light walking in the surroundings, for photo taking in the afternoon.

Enjoy the traditional dinner with the local family.

Resting time in the evening. Dinner and overnight in guesthouse.

Day 2

Sarmyshsay – Asraf

Breakfast at the guesthouse.

Morning at leisure, time for morning photo shooting.

Easy hiking en route to village Asraf, enjoying the beautiful weather and picturesque views of rural life.

Arrival in Asraf, the local family welcomes visitors with lunch.

Take a walking in the village surroundings. Staying in the villages gives a unique opportunity to acknowledge the customs, ancient traditions, and the modes of everyday life of local people. Feel the soothing atmosphere of home, take a real cultural insight, and relax after urban lifestyle and touristic sights.

Traditional dinner with the local family.

Resting time in the evening. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 3

Asraf

Breakfast at the guesthouse.

Day at leisure in the Asraf village.

Easy hiking in the picturesque surroundings along the mountain paths. Spending a day in the countryside is a great chance to relax and escape from the intensive urban lifestyle.

Beautiful nature and hospitable local people make the tour enjoyable and memorable.

Culinary master class of cooking traditional Uzbek meals, the visitors are welcome to observe the process of cooking or take part in preparing the meals to get acquainted with the traditions and customs of locals.

Enjoy a home-made delicious dinner with the local family.

Resting time in the evening. Overnight in guesthouse.

Day 4

Asraf – Aydarkul

Breakfast at the guesthouse.

Transfer to the yurt camp near Aydarkul lake.

- Aydarkul is a unique place called “The blue pearl”, a beautiful lake in the Kizil Kum desert which is famous for its breathtaking landscapes, an abundance of fish, and the soul healing atmosphere.

Lunch at the camp.

Leisure time to explore the camp surroundings.

Dinner near the campfire with the accompaniment of akyn’s songs, time to take ethnographic pictures, spend leisure watching the beautiful sunset and bright stars at night.

Overnight in the yurt.

Day 5

Aydarkul – Samarkand

Breakfast at the yurt camp.

Morning at leisure to take sunrise pictures.

11:00 Transfer to Samarkand, en-route enjoying beautiful views and local life scenery.

Arrival in Samarkand, transfer to the hotel.

End of the tour.
