Excursion

Flight to Ashgabat.

Early morning arrival in Ashgabat International Airport ( ETA 04:00 am).

Migration formalities (  PCR/ visa/passport control usually takes 1,5 - 4 hr).

Please come out of the terminal, the driver is meeting with the sighboard ANUR TOUR at the meeting zone.

10:00 Start sightseeing in Ashgabat

Ancient Nissa (18km from Ashgabad) UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ruins of the ancient city (the date of foundation of I millennium BC - I millennium BC).

Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum. It is considered the biggest in Central Asia (10 thousand people). There are a beautiful garden and fountains near the mosque.

Ertogrul Gazy Mosque  with four minarets reminding the Blu Mosque of Istanbul was built in honor of Ertogrul the father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire,

Independence Park with Monument of Independence (it's a 118 m column that is considered the highest building in the country);

Neutrality Arch - a unique composition that rotates slowly after the sun.

Afternoon transfer to Darvaza crater and change from the asphalt road to the Karakum desert track ( off-road).

In 1971 geologists accidentally found an underground cavern filled with natural gas. To avoid poisonous gas discharge, it was decided to burn the gas. Geologists hoped the fire would go out in a few days but it has been burning ever since. Locals have named the cavern The Gate - Darvaza. The views are impressive, especially in sunset and night when the mild sunlight and burning crater evoke incredible and ambiguous feelings.

Transfer from Darwaza gas crater to Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan border post Dashoguz/Shavat by car (5 hours). Please note some part of the road is off-road desert track.

The driver will meet at Uzbekistan side of the land border.

Transfer to Khiva.

Resting time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Start walking excursion in the historical part of Khiva – Ichan-kala (translated as “Inner town”) - the largest Museum in the open air in Central Asia:

Ata-Darvaza, Kunya - Ark;

Madrassah of Muhammad Rahim Khan;

Madrassah of Muhammed Aminhan;

Kalta Minor, the Palace of the Allakulihan Khan of Khiva;

Tash Hauli, where the harem of 40 concubines was;

Caravanserai and Tim Allakulihan;

Mausoleum of Seyd Allaudin;

Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum;

Minaret and Islam-Khoja Madrassah, Mosque and Jami Minaret.

09:00 Transfer Khiva to Bukhara by car (475 km, 7 hrs) via Kyzylkum desert.

09:00 Meet the guide in the lobby. Start walking sightseeing program in Bukhara (5 hrs):

Ensemble Lyabi Hauz (Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa, Khanaka, Kukeldash Madrassa and the monument of Khodja Nasreddin);

Magoki Attari Mosque is one of the oldest mosques survived in Bukhara from the time before the Mongolian invasion;

Abdullakhan’s Tim with numerous handicraft shops of souvenirs, ceramics, national clothes, and carpets;

- Caravanserai Sayfuddin (the Center of Handicraft Development of Bukhara);

- Trading domes or so called covered bazaars Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon, and Toki Zargaron preserved from the XVI century and these bazaars were the centers for trade of silk, jewelry and money exchange.Nowadays, visitors can purchase different souvenirs of a wide range from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets;

- Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassas or so-called Kosh (pare) madrassas opposite each other with the distinctive style of facade ornamental decoration;

Poi Kalon Square with Kalon Minaret and Mosque, Mir Arab Madrassa – the heart of Bukhara, a monumental complex impresses the imagination;

Ark Fortress – the oldest citadel dating back to I century BC where one can feel the history of the great fortress covered in beautiful legends and myths.

14:30 Transfer to the railway station in Bukhara.

15:50 Departure for Samarkand by high-speed train "Afrosiyob" or "Sharq".

17:20 Arrival in Samarkand.

08:00 Transfer to border post Jartepa. Border crossing usually takes 30 min-1 hr.

Meet the guide and driver at Tajikistan part of the border. Start sightseeing tour:

Transfer to Marguzor, the famous seven lakes - seven wonderful water mirrors full of mountain riverside drops. Each lake looks different whenever the sun changes its position. Colors may vary from deep blue to indie color ripple. Most of them are cold to swim even in summer. These lakes belong to Fann Mountains system.

On the western edge of the Fan Mountains in the valley of the river Shing there are seven lakes, six of them are dammed origin, besides the lake Hazorchashma. Lakes are called Marguzor, but each lake has its own name: Nezhigon, Soybean, Gushor, Nofin, Hurdak, Marguzor, Hazorchashma. The difference in level between the upper and lower lake is 692 meters. Easy hike at the lakes. Lunch in the guesthouse.

The Sarazm museum (UNESCO World Heritage).

16:30 Afternoon border crossing BP Jartepa to Uzbekistan (takes about 30 min-1 hr).

17:00 Meet the driver at Uzbekistan side of the border. Transfer to Samarkand.

09:00 Meet the guide and driver. Start Samarkand sightseeing tour visiting 

– Gur Emir Mausoleum – a burial vault of Timur the Great and his descendants decorated with gold ornaments and considered as one of the most significant places in the world;

– Continue to the famous Registan Square – the heart of Samarkand and a real masterpiece of Central Asian medieval architecture consists of three grandiose buildings: Ulughbek Madrassa, Madrassa Sherdor, and Madrassa Tilla Kori.

– Bibi Khanim Mosque – the biggest medieval building in the city which was one of the most magnificent mosques in the Islamic world in the 15th Century;

– Samarkand bazaar Siyab.

09:00 Meet the guide at the lobby. Continue sightseeing program in Samarkand (5 hours):

 Shahi Zinda Necropolis – unique complex of Mausoleums  formed by standing on both sides of the cenotaph (an imaginary grave) belonging to the Muslim person named Saint Abbas ibn-Kussam;

 Ulugbek’s Observatory – the finest astronomical centers in the medieval world was built by order of Ulugbek, an outstanding scholar and astronomer;

 Khoja Doniyor Mausoleum - the mausoleum over the grave of one of the saints. According to legend back to XVIII century, the ashes of the Old Testament biblical prophet Daniyar (Daniel) are buried in the mausoleum, the remains of which were brought to Samarkand and buried by Amir Timur.

– Paper factory "Meros”  in Konigil village that produces unique paper that can be preserved for more than and is used in craftworks.

16:30 Transfer to the train station in Samarkand.

17:35 Departure for Tashkent by train "Afrosiyob"/"Sharq".

09:00 Transfer to the yurt camp near Issyk Kul with nature sightseeing en-route.

Burana Tower was the vertical dominant of the ancient city Balasagun, the north capital of the Turkic lingual state of the Karakhanids, and the small nearby museum with its collection of ancient bal-bals, carved stone figures used as monuments. 

-  Eagle show in Bokonbayevo;

-  Issyk-Kul  translated as “Hot Lake” - one of the most beautiful lakes in Central Asia. Due to the salty water Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities.

Transfer to Chon Kemin village, nature sightseeing en-route:

- Skazka (Fairy tale) Canyon and enjoy an easy hike among the impressive with its colorful red rocks.

Evening arrival in Chon Kemin. 

Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.

09:00 Start Bishkek sightseeing tour visiting:

Ala Archa Natural park (~35 km from Bishkek, ~ 40min). Easy hiking and photo stops in Ala Archa gorge.

Start walking city tour around Bishkek visiting:

Oak Park, the city center. It is known also as Dubovy Park - today it is one of the favorite places among locals and tourists in Bishkek. 

Ala-Too Square is the central square in Bishkek. It serves as a place for state events and celebrations. Philharmonic hall – situated at the top of Rose Alley.

Statue of Manas (Manas is a legendary Kyrgyz hero and the classic centerpiece of Kyrgyz literature).

Victory Square where one can see the Victory monument, a memorial was completed in 1984. Usually, the main festival events are held in Bishkek at the eternal flame, on Victory Square with the guard of honor, forces of Kyrgyz garrison and a military band.

State History Museum is a perfect display of the Kyrgyz people and the history of the country of Kyrgyzstan.

-The tour is published on November 11, 2025 and the rates as per program and conditions specified are actual for 180 days ( 6 month) from the date of publication.

All the rates will be subject to change if the request is after 180 days from date of publication because any changes in the seasonal tariffs for hotels, air/train ticket prices, tax increase, and exchange rate fluctuation may cause the increase of rates.

- By request, the group tour itineraries can be adjusted for solo traveller or family private tours, please note the tariffs for private tours may be higher than in group offers.

- If the hotels noted in the program are fully booked or not available for the dates in case of stop-sale dates/ temporary reconstruction works, booked for government delegation, etc.. Tour company reserves the right to book the other hotels of the same category and similar service in case of last-minute booking due to restricted time and high season intensity.


- We highly recommend early booking of Central Asia group tours, family tours about 9- 6 months before the tour dates, and not later than 3 months before the tour dates.

Please note, in case of late booking less than 3 month ahead and last-minute booking less than 10 days ahead the trip it is possible that the itineraries due to restricted time and high season intensity the hotels and train tickets will be booked as per rooms and train tickets availability for the date of booking/ for travel dates.


- Yurt camps, guesthouses, and homestays offer traditional meals; there are quite basic toilet and shower conditions. Single accommodation in the guesthouses, yurts and homestays is not guaranteed and will be subject of availability.

- Please note the international flights Tashkent – Bishkek/ Tashkent – Almaty/ Dushanbe –Almaty or reverse flights are regular but can be scheduled not every day, the program can be slightly adjusted as per actual flight details.

- Please confirm your return flights and provide full information ( flight details, passport copies and if required, other documents for visa support) to book the tours. We highly recommend acknowledging the necessary documentation before the trip: valid passport with expiration not later than 6-month, visa / e-visa/ LOI.

- Travel/ medical insurance is not included in the tour packages as it is not obligatory, but we highly recommend all tourists buying the travel/medical insurance in the country of residence.

- Please note that during the national holidays, during the big summits, fairs, festivals, major sport and cultural events, some parts of the roads can be temporarily blocked for delegations and events as per government decrees.
