08:00 Morning transfer from Khiva/ Urgench to the Uzbek-Turkmen border pass "Shavat" (60 km).
Arrival at the border pass office. Border formalities on both sides.
Meet by Turkmenistan guide and transfer to Kunya Urgench (100 km), the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once an important stronghold of the Achaemenid Empire, it once contained the city of Khorezm, whose stunning ruins and amazing architecture draw visitors today.
Excursion in Kunya Urgench with visits to the Mausoleum of Turabek Khanum, Minaret of Kutlug Timur, Mausoleum of Sultan Tekesh, Mausoleum of Il-Arslan, Najamuddin Kubra Mausoleum, and others.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, transfer to the Karakum desert, directly to the gas crater Darvaza (4 hrs).
In 1971, geologists accidentally found an underground cavern filled with natural gas. The ground beneath the drilling rig collapsed, leaving a large hole with a diameter of about 50-100 meters. To avoid poisonous gas discharge, it was decided to burn the gas. Geologists had hoped the fire would go out in a few days, but it has been burning ever since. Locals have named the cavern The Gate to Hell, and the sight of the crater at night indeed gives a somewhat spooky feel.
The views are most impressive in the dark.
Barbecue dinner and overnight in a yurt or tents.

Transfer to Ashgabat, on arrival in Ashgabat, start sightseeing:
- Anau mosque ruins of the 15th century and Anau culture remains of the Bronze Age in the suburban area of Ashgabat;
- Ahalteke horse stables, where you will have an opportunity to see the most beautiful horses in the world. Archeologists and historians proved that horses were handled on the territory of Turkmenistan a minimum of five thousand years ago. The specialists note that the foothill lands of Kopetdag made favorable ecological conditions for the birth of strapping and wanton horses.
Afternoon arrival in Ashgabat.
Resting time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

- Independence Park - One of the main touristic attractions of Turkmenistan is the National Independence Park in Ashgabat. Ashgabat Park (Turkmen: Aşgabat seýilgähi) is among the oldest public parks [clarification needed] at the center of Ashgabat in Turkmenistan;
- Neutrality Arch;
- Ferris Wheel;
- Wedding Palace Viewpoint;
- Stairs of Health Park - 33-km long concrete stairway across the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, constructed on the orders of the first president of Turkmenistan in the early nineties;
- Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum - Eleven kilometers to the west of Ashgabat, there stands the largest mosque in Central Asia and the main mosque of Turkmenistan – The Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque;
- Ertogrul Ghazi Mosque - The Ertugrul Gazi Mosque is one of the most beautiful Muslim mosques of Turkmenistan. Like any other buildings erected in Ashgabat during the period of independence, the mosque strikes with its size and rich decoration;
18:00 Return to the hotel.
