Association of Private Tourism Agencies (APTA) of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Uzbekistan Airways “Uzbekistan Havo Yollari” and “Uzbektourism” National Company decided to organize Road Show in Southern-Eastern Asian states. Road Show will include several events, which include exhibitions directed at promoting tourism sector of Uzbekistan and presenting its potential in foreign markets for further fruitful cooperation and tourism exchange. It will allow to raise information awareness about Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
About 10 Uzbek tour operators will be able to present their products and participate in other events of Road Show, which will be held in Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in February, 2013. Road Show will be organized at the support of "Uzbekistan Havo Yollari".
According to APTA, tourism business of Uzbekistan supported initiative and proposal of "Uzbekistan Havo Yollari" to participate in Road Show. The businesses will be able to participate international tourism exhibition NATAS as well.
The organizers noted that it was decided to organize Road Show as it will help further promote Uzbekistan as tourism destination and fully present potential of the country in tourism market of Southern-Eastern Asian states, as well as attract more tourists.
The organizers underlined that some 70 foreign tourism companies are invited to attend each Road Show, which will be organized in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
