Opening of the first ecological park in Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent on the territory of the former zoo.
The ecological park was built according to the project of Fond Forum with the support of Mitsubishi Corporation. Cultural workers, representatives of diplomatic corps, social organizations, creative and active young people and media representatives were invited for the opening.
The feature of the park is that environmentally safe materials were used while constructing.
The territory of the ecopark is symbolically divided into three zones: zone1 – first special ground in Uzbekistan for skateboarders, rollers and cyclists; zone 2 – playing area with different park amusements-installations; zone 3 - creative area where children and adults can learn the basics of fine and decorative art. There are many trees and green meadows in the park. The whole territory is decorated with ceramic handicrafts of big forms (jugs, statues) and unusual installations, for example, a huge boot.
The ecological park encourages residents and guests of Tashkent to spend more time outdoors with friends and families. Here you can combine entertainment with interesting and useful lessons: from the joint participation in sports to special games, competitions and charity events. The slogan of the ecopark is “New breath of the megalopolis and health leisure for the whole family”.
