Tour description:

 Fergana valley is one of the biggest oasis with mild climate and abundance . This blooming place  is situated on the territory of three countries of Central Asia-Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan and Tajikistan. The valley is famous for its natural silk manufacture in Margilan, amazing  pottery in Rishtan, knives in Chust and big bazaars in Andijan.

Day 1
Tashkent - Kokand - Rishtan - Fergana

Tashkent train station.

06.40 Start to Kokand from Tashkent by train. 

11.15 Arrival in Kokand. Our guide will meet you at the train station. 

The tour around Kokand starts visiting the palace of Khudoyar-Khan Palace of 19 century, Jami Mosque. Norbut-Bii Madrassah, Modari Khan Mausoleum - that is a mausoleum for all the female relatives of Khan's family.

After transfer to Rishtan town (50 km west of Fergana). Rishton is famous all over the world for its pottery - every third family in Rishtan is potters. Rishtan pottery is decorated according to ancient tradition that is more than 800 years. Masters hand down their trade secrets from father to son. The unique red clay ceramic masterpieces are decorated with classical naturally made ultramarine, turquoise and azure ornaments known as blue glaze "ishkor". All the visitors are welcomed with the wide range of beautiful dishes that often take places in many international exhibitions, museums, world and private collections.

The tour program includes visiting the workshops of the famous potter Rustam Usmanov and master of silk carpets weaver Bahromjon Gafurov.

After excursions transfer to Fergana. Hotel check in and free time;   

Day 2


Transfer to Margilan

The excursion starts with visiting Said-Ahmad Hodji Madrassah where craftsmen produce original silk carpets. walking around the local bazaar and visit to silk factory Yodgorlik where visitors are welcome to observe the process of silk manufacture with traditional decoration called “ikat”

If the tour is on Thursday or Sunday a walk around the biggest bazaar of Fergana valley Kumtepa

Kuva is covered with gardens and vineyards. it is famous for its delicious pomegranates.there is a planned visit of Ahmad Al-Fargoni monumental complex. on the way there is a stop in Shahristan town and a visit to knives manufacture workshop

Transfer to Andijan, one of the most important etrepot of The Great Silk Road. A tour around the town includes visiting The Central Bazaar, the Craftsmen street Hunarmandchilik, Art and Literature Museum, craft centre , Bog-I Shamol garden known as The Garden of Winds , Bobur Museum.
