In August, 16 Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued the order “About ensuring a high level of national stand "Uzbekistan" at international tourism fairs and exhibitions”.
"Uzbektourism" company is the coordinator of the preparatory activities on the participation on an annual basis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in international tourism exhibitions and fairs abroad with the unified national stand.
The visitors of the exhibition will be offered the tours around ancient cities, such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Together with the embassies of Uzbekistan the presentations “Welcome to Uzbekistan” will be held together with the representatives of media and large tour operators.
There is a list of international tourist fairs and exhibitions, on which the national stand “Uzbekistan” will be presented every year. The fairs are: «FITUR» (Madrid, January-February), «EMITT» (Istanbul, February), «BALTTOUR» (Riga, February), «ITB» (Berlin, March), «MITT» (Moscow, March), «TOP-RESA» (Paris, September), «JATA Travel Showcase» (Tokyo, September), «TTG Incontri» (Rimini, Italy, October), and «WTM» (London, November).
