Special tourist train «Afsona» began its work in Uzbekistan, its first trip took place from Tashkent to Karshi-Urgench on 11thof April.
The train is used for transportation of tourists to Khorezm region from another region of Uzbekistan, in particular, from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Karshi, and will promote the development of internal tourism. The train will operate on its own schedule.
The train “Afsona” consists of eight comfortable luxury wagons and coupes, and also a restaurant wagon. The special tourist train was opened according to the decree of the president about the development of tourism in Khorezm region.
