Paul Salopek is going to walk through Uzbekistan
Paul Salopek, a traveler and journalist of the magazine National Geographic, is going to Uzbekistan. His unique foot journey Paul started in 2013 from Ethiopia (Africa).
As planned, journalist will reach the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego (South America) in 2020 where his journey finishes. During seven-year journey the traveler will visit more than 30 countries. Paul travels exclusively on foot, allowing him to get acquainted with the life and traditions of the local people and visit places hidden from ordinary tourists.
Currently, Paul is in Kazakhstan, where he arrived in December last year. The next country on its path is Uzbekistan. His notes, photos and impressions he shares online, what it is of great public interest.
