The Japanese theatre “No” and “Kyogen” will perform with a special show of short plays in two cities of Uzbekistan, Samarkand and Tashkent.
The performance is organized in connection with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries.
The programme include the performance of two plays of the theatre “No” “Hagoromo – Tippet of feathers” and “Shedze Midare – Drunk sea elf” and one sketch of “Kyogen” named “Bo Shibari”.
At the end of the event the performance of the Uzbek State chamber orchestra of national instruments "Sogdiana" under the direction of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Firuza Abdurakhimova, will be held.
“No” is one of the oldest Japanese drama theatres, which was arose in the XIV century. “No” is close to “Kyogen” and it includes the characters of popular folk and aristocratic forms of art. During the performance of “No” it is necessary to feel the originality and to understand all that is on the stage. The least nuances are full of deep and obscure sense.

23th of September, 18:30 – Samarkand, Sherdor madrassah on Registan square. Entrance is by invitation only.
25th of September, 18:30 – Tashkent. State Conservatoire of Uzbekistan. Entrance is free.
