Interesting 15-days tour to Central Asia with visiting main cities of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgystan

Day 1
Tashkent Arrival

Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting and transfer to the hotel. Check-in, time for rest. 

Day 2
Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva

Early breakfast.

Transfer to local airport.

06:50 Depart Tashkent by HY 1051
08:30 Arrival in Urgench.

Meeting, transfer to Khiva (30km). Hotel check-in (if rooms are ready).

Start sightseeing in the old part of Khiva – Ichan Kala known as “Inner town”. Ichan Kala which is the biggest open air museum in Central Asia consists of the following architectural monuments: Ata Darbaza (West Gate), Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhim-Khan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret.

Continue city tour with visits to Juma Mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja Madrassa and Minaret, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allakulikhan’s Madrassa and Tosh Hovli Palace where was the harem with 40 concubines, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan.

Transfer to the hotel. Night in the hotel. 

Day 3
Khiva - Dashoguz - Kunya Urgench - Ashgabat
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Turkmen – Uzbek Border Pass the border. (Check point Shavat).
Moving to Kunya-UrgenchStart sightseeing tour with visiting: the founder mausoleum of Sufi sects "Kubra" Nadzhimetdin Kubra (XII-XIII centuries); the mausoleum of Mongolian princess Torebeg-Hanym (XII-XIV centuries); minaret Mamun (X-XI centuries); minaret Kutlug-Timur (XII-XIV c, the highest minaret in Central Asia - 67m height); mausoleum Kyrkmolla (II in BC - III A.D.); mausoleum Arslan II (the oldest building in the city - date of its bookmark is roughly estimated by XI century).
Transfer to the airport
20:00 depart Dashoguz by flight
20:50 arrival in Ashgabat
Meeting, transfer to the hotel, check-in. 
Day 4
Ashgabat - Nissa - Ashgabat

Breakfast in the hotel. 

Start city tour with visits to Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Independence Park with Monument of Independence (it's a 118m column that consider the highest building in the country),  Neutrality Arch - an unique composition that  rotates slowly after the sun. Visiting  National Museum, where you can see more than 166 unique  exposition from Ancient Merv and Nissa. 

A trip to ancient Nissa (18km from Ashgabad) that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ruins of the ancient city (the date of foundation of the I millennium BC - I millennium BC). Return back to Ashgabad. Visit en-route Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum. It's considered the biggest in Central Asia (10 thousands of people). There're beautiful garden and fountains near the mosque. 

Transfer to the hotel. Overnight. 

Day 5
Ashgabat - Mary - Ancient Merv - Bukhara


Transfer to the airport.
08:00 Departure Ashgabat by flight

08:40 Arrival in Mary. 
Moving to Ancient Merv (UNESCO). Discover historical park with: Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Mohammed bin Said Mausoleum, medieval castles – “Kesk” fortresses (6-7 centuries) and others. Return to Mary. Visit the History museum of Merv region.

Transfer to the border post for border crossing. (Check point Farab).
Meeting, transfer to Bukhara, check-in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast in the hotel.

City tour along the old part of Bukhara including visits to the Mausoleum of Samanids, Bolo Hauz Mosque and the Ark Fortress – the oldest citadel dating back to the I century BC, Poi Kalon Square with Kalon Minaret and Mosque, Mir Arab Madrassa.

There are three trading domes or so called covered bazaars preserved from the XVI century and these bazaars were the centers for trade of silk, jewelry and even for money exchange. Today as well, one can enjoy and purchase different souvenirs of a wide range, from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets.

Visits to Ulughbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassas, Abdullakhan’s Tim and a visit to the Caravanserai Sayfuddin which is the Center of Handicraft Development of Bukhara. Magoki Attari Mosque. Lyabi Hauz is the center of old Bukhara and it is an architectural complex of the XVII century that includes Nadir Divanbegi Madrassa and Khanaqa, Kukeldash Madrassa and the monument of the famous historical comedian figure Khodja Nasreddin is also based in this square.

Dinner with folk show in Nodir Divan Begi Madrassah. Night in the hotel. 

Day 7
Bukhara - Samarkand


On the way we can visit workshop of famous Uzbek pottery master Abdulla Narzullaev in Gijduvan city. There tourists can learn how ceramics are making and even buy some of them. Arrival in Samarkand, check in the hotel.

Free time. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 8
Samarkand - Tashkent


Start sightseeing in Samarkand with visiting famous Registan Square – heart of Samarkand and real masterpiece of Central Asian medieval architecture, consists of three grandiose buildings: Ulughbek Madrassah, Madrassah Sherdor and Madrassah Tilla Kori. After Registan you will visit Gur Emir Mausoleum – a burial vault of Timurids dynasty; Bibi Khanim Mosque – the biggest medieval building in the city; Shahi Zinda Necropolis – unique complex of Mausoleums; Ulugbek’s Observatory – one of the most important astronomical centers. 
A visit to the Mausoleum of Khodja Doniyor known as Saint Daniel; Samarkand local bazaar - Siyab.   

16:00 transfer to the railway station

17:00 depart for Tashkent by fast train "Afrosiab"

19:10 arrival in Tashkent.

Meeting, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9

Breakfast in the hotel.    

Sightseeing tour of Tashkent to the old and new parts of the city: Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square with the Opera House, Applied Art Museum, Earthquake Memorial, Abdul Kasim Madrassah and Alisher Navoi National Park, Independence SquareKhast Imam Square – a religious center of the city consisting of the Barakkhan madrassah, Kaffal  Shashi Mausoleum and the library of Islamic Literature with the Holy Koran Book of the VII century.

Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10
Tashkent - Fergana


Transfer to Fergana Valley by cars. Pass picturesque mountain pass Kamchik (2267 m. above the sea level).

Arrival in Kokand. Sightseeing in Kokand with visits to famous Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, Kamol-Kazy Madrasah, and Norbut-biy Madrasah. Continue drive to Fergana via Rishtan and Margilan cities.

In Rishtan city we will visit house of ceramic master where you can enjoy a pottery workshop and have a look at ceramic collection in a small museum. Visit house of traditional Kyrgyz family manufacturing wool carpets. In Margilan city we'll visit traditional market and Yodgorlik Silk factory where you have an opportunity to see the production process of silk with traditional Ikat patterns. 
Continue driving to Fergana. Arrival, check-in. Free time. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 11
Fergana - Osh - Bishkek


Transfer to Uzbek – Kyrgyz boarder pass. Crossing Uzbek-Kyrgyz border.
Transfer to Osh city (15 km). Short sightseeing in city: visit Suleiman mountain and Museum, Osh Bazaar, Main square with Lenin statue. Transfer to airport for everning flight to Bishkek.

Meeting, transfer to the hotel, check-in. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 12
 Bishkek - Issyk-Kul 
Morning transfer to Issyk Kul Lake (250 km). On the way we stop at Cholpon Ata History and Ethnology Museum, visit Petroglyphs site. Cholpon-Ata petroglyphs are located between the northern, western and north-western outskirts of Cholpon-Ata. The drawings theme is varied but the main pictures are the images of animals: deer, bulls, horses, wild rams, goats, wolves and many others. 
Leisure time at the lake shore. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13
Issyk-Kul - Bishkek
Transfer to Burana Tower (210 km) – rests of an ancient town Balasagyn. Burana Tower was the vertical dominant of the ancient city Balasagun, the north capital of the Turkic lingual state of the Karakhanids. Excursion.
Drive to Bishkek (70 km). Visit Victory square and ZUM (department store for souvenirs).
Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14

Bishkek - Ala-Archa - Bishkek

Excursion to Ala Archa Natural park (80 km), which attracts visitors with its beautiful mountain scenery and hiking trails. Easy hike in the park. 
In the Ala-Archa gorge you can see 1,100 species of plants, and its fauna is rich and diverse. There are foxes, wolves, hares, badgers, porcupines, argali, snow leopard and griffins here. 
P.M. Return back to Bishkek for city tour with visits to State History Museum at Ala Too Square, Lenin Statue, White House, Manas Monument.
Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15
Transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home. The end of the tour.
