Since May 28 one of the most popular hotels of Tashkent InterContinental Tashkent Hotel has got the name International Tashkent Hotel.
This is related to the change of the administration. The British company InterContinental Hotels Group at the expiration of the 15-year contract with the Uzbek party left Uzbekistan.
The hotel is the property of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MFERIT). The Ministry, in turn, is considering the proposals from international companies to manage the hotels.
